FINALLY!!! A GREEN PTAC HUMIDIFIER SOLUTION
STAY IN COMFORT

PATENTED

About Us

AIRH2U was designed specifically for the economy to mid-size hotel using PTAC (Packaged
Terminal Air Conditioner ) unit. The PTAC unit utilizes an electric heating element to heat the air,
the electric coils consume any humidity the air may have left. The AIRH2U unit catches the air
from the unit and forces it into the humidifier. Once the dry air enters the unit it is then forced
through the saturated woven wicking material causing the water to evaporate as it exits through
the exit vents on both ends humidified. When a room has no humidity, there is always one thing
in the room that does, its occupant. Once the human body starts being drained of its own
moisture is when we start to see health issues and greatly decreased levels of comfort.

Overview

AIRH2U Humidifiers are commonly used to increase indoor humidity, or the level of moisture in
the air. Primarily used in the winter months, due to indoor heating systems and cold
temperatures lead to low humidity levels. The use of a humidifier in these drier months can
have numerous health benefits. The AIRH2U humidifier is a self-contained evaporative
humidifier which has no moving parts and requires no electricity. The AIRH2U is installed in less
than 20 seconds with no hardware or tools required.

Health Benefits

AIRH2U humidifiers help in reducing dry skin and chapped / dry lips during the winter months.
Breathing dry air leads to respiratory disorders like asthma, bronchitis, sinusitis and possibly
nosebleeds from dry nasal passages. By drying out nasal passages and mucus membranes this
makes people more prone to infections, sore throats as well as colds, flu and transmission of the
influenza virus. Children are especially affected by no to low humidity environments.

Furnishings

In an environment without humidity the dry air seeks out anything in the environment that has
any moisture. The immediate effects are felt by the occupant of the room while long term
effects are shown in the drying of the contents. Wood tables, curtains, carpets and bedding etc.
This isn’t something that is instantly seen in any of the mentioned areas. This is reflected in the
lifecycle of these items that may have to be replaced or repaired prematurely.

How to use

AIRH2U is amazingly simple to use. After you have completed the timely 20 second installation
process. Simply slide the wicking squares into their marked positions, fill with water and it is
ready to start humidifying your rooms. ( total elapsed time… 1 minute ) The top cover of the
unit is made to lift off with zero friction allowing ease of access to the reservoir of the unit for
easy refills when needed. 1 fill should typically last 1 night’s sleep. Most people staying in the
economy to mid-size hotels are business travelers who typically wouldn’t be occupying the
room during the day subsequently not running the heater either.

Past attempts

In the years of developing the AIRH2U humidifier I’ve come across many things people have suggested.
From running the shower all night at high heat to generate steam (not knowing the hot water heater is
timed) and just wasting hundreds of gallons of water, possibly per room. Laying soaking wet towels over
the vents while the heater is on, causing water to drip on the carpet, only to be discovered when the
seasons change and possible mold starts growing. Many have attempted to humidify their rooms and
there are many blogs of people asking for an answer to this ongoing problem. That’s exactly what we’ve
done at AIRH2U. Making a better hotel stay 1 room at a time.

Why Air H2U?

The AIRH2U humidifier is a green technology solution that addresses the no to low humidity in geographic locations. These locations bring winter months that have a blustery cutting cold that has no moisture throughout the United States as well as internationally. No humidity isn't just found in the blustery winter areas, it also exist in very dry desert like climates as well.
